Silenced
The artwork is called Silenced. It is an abstract art piece portraying a mouthless person unable to speak or make any noise. The painting represents the anger and frustration one feels for not being able to speak up and voice their own thoughts/beliefs. However, as it is an abstract work, the piece can be interpreted differently depending on the imagination of the viewer.
The work was published in Global Commons Spring Issue 2023.

Split
An art series on exploring the concept of the divided self.

Beyond the Body
Imagine a body like a blank slate, and let society paint whatever image it wants of it. Or let it be a shape that you prefer, one that is unique to your experience and your story, one that fits you—the choice is yours.
The painting is a homage to being at peace with body dysmorphia. It reflects on societal expectations of a perfect body and the influence it has on us, especially young minds, to achieve such a body image.
The work was exhibited at the EMK Us Women 2023 exhibition in celebration of Women’s History Month.

Jellyfish
Jellyfish is a short illustrated book that tells the story of a couple coming to terms with the loss of their child. They lost their child to the sea and visit the beach every year in the hopes of feeling closer to their daughter. The story conveys the father’s agony of not being able to save his daughter and the mother’s longing to see her one last time. It deals with the idea of coming to terms with irreversible loss and accepting grief.

Little People
The painting depicts hopeless little people living between the heavens and the earth. Hopeless in their longing to be loved, longing to be desired, longing for answers, or merely longing to be seen.
The work was published as the cover art of BRACU Resonance (volume IV).
